I was genuinely surprised at how easy it was to assemble the links into a sheet for the bracers I was making. Once you hit the foam with a heat gun, it flattens out and seems to get stronger as the rings tighten up a bit. It looked awesome black, then I hit it with silver pain and WOW, it popped!!
I have used this in multiple builds in my cosplay journeys and I would highly recommend it to everything from faux chain maille sleeves and armor pieces, to embellishment panels, to awesome dice bags. It is a very versatile material that will give the appearance of the real stuff without the tediousness of time or the weight of actual metal. Stock up, be creative, and make something epic.
I got these to build accent pieces for my LARP tassets. They were easy to punch out and put together, extremely high quality cut job. I over stretched some parts but they went back to shape with a heat gun (and I shrank a few too far, you have been warned). If you want the sound of chain, drape some behind the piece to jingle as you walk. 10/10 will buy again.
